I have a copy of get_iplayer running under ubuntu, I was unable to download this program; get_iplayer --pid=b012yq57 , I have tried the Index as well, I have installed a windows version 2.9.1 and it is unable to download as well, I can view it via the iplayer website.

error message is below;

That programme has some bad metadata. Use to revert to old metadata.

I am able to play the program from the iPlayer website and have tryed using the pid from the url in that window also with the same results.

Looking at the --info on a program that works vs one that doesnt the only difference I have noticed is that the two following feilds on the working info data, dont know if this is realted?

verpids: default: b04ww8xc
versions: default

Any idears?

Are you using version 2.91

Just tried it here and it downloaded fine with . Adding that command reverts to the old search method and if that still fails, get_iplayer will then scrape the programme page to look for the data it needs to download it.

I'm using get_iplayer 2.91-ppa21

There are currenly 6 programs that suffer the same, however other new content works fine.

Any astiance woudl be greatly apresiated :-)

Sorted, seem's that the program is listed and has info but at closere inspection to the iplayer page it says

"Its not avalible at this time"

It was on TV but the BBC do not have the rights to make it available on iPlayer.

The error message "but no available download" also occurs if you are outside the UK but works Ok if you using a (REDACTED). Im using v2.91 and the short name form works OK as well. No need for PID yet!
