I have been running get_iplayer for nearly a year now on one of my machines with no problems. However, due to other issues with the machine I am trying to install get_iplayer on a different machine. I can get get_iplayer to run fine but running get_iplayer_web_pvr gives me the following error:

Unable to create server socket: Cannot assign requested address at /usr/share/get_iplayer/get_iplayer.cgi line 322.

Any ideas what could be causing this error and how to fix it?

That usually means you have configured an incorrect IP address for the web pvr.

I wrote two sections of the IP address the wrong way round.
