Been using get i player for about 6 months, all of a sudden (as of a couple of days ago) I get this message

INFO Trying to stream pid using type radio
INFO: pid found in cache

ERROR: Failed to get version pid metadata from iplayer site

Any thoughts? Hints?, Tips?

Works fine here. For some reason, your machine appears to be unable to connect to one of the BBC services. Re-run with and look in the output for the line that begins with "INFO: iPlayer metadata URL =". Take the URL found on that line (if there is one) and pop it in your web browser to see if it returns anything. Also post the exact command you ran. The error message isn't much good unless I can see what you're trying to run.
