Apologies in advance if topic already covered, but I couldn't find it.

I'm using get_iplayer on Windows 10 and lost the internet link half way through a recording. Now I cannot delete the files that I see under 'Recordings' and when I try to rerecord the same files, get_iplayer says 'recording complete' and nothing happens.
Cannot see the files in my folder and it is greyed out in the GoogleChrome recording folder.

I hope I managed to make sense of what's happening. Any way of correcting this?

Also, how can I use the normal command prompt? When i run get_iplayer it automatically opens an Internet windows and I'm unable to use the old command prompt.

Hi guys, it works in Command prompt using --force at the end of the command line, but still unable to do it in Google Chrome.

You now know the required command line option is --force. Look again at the recording options in the web pvr manager and it should be obvious what to do.
