Hi all

When I download future radio shows, the category for current shows is displayed, but the category does not appear for the future shows at all. This means I cannot filter or search future items by category. This is a shame because it would be really useful.

Is this a problem with the parsing, the BBC site or me?

The BBC provides category information only for programmes that have already been broadcast. Listings for future programmes are derived from a different data source that does not contain category information.

That is a pity. Never mind I'm sure I will be able to use my limited skills to extract the pids for all the future comedy webpages (eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/programmes/ge...2013/10/22) then link them up with get_iplayer pids using excel or access.
