I’m hoping somebody can help this technical dunce, please.
 
Since yesterday morning, I have been unable to download any radio programmes. After searching for and entering the ID thus:



I receive an error stating:

“value “t” invalid for option “e” (number expected). 

I get the same error if using the PID:



I have uninstalled and re-installed the software, as well as running virus and malware scans. If anybody could give me a simple, step by step guide how to rectify this, I’ll be most grateful.

Two hyphens required: --get, not an em-dash.  Inspect your commands carefully before posting.  

You couldn't possibly get the exact same error from that second command. Not that it matters - you are trying to download a programme that does not exist. Always check the programme web site first if a programme will not download.
