Something I'm now thinking may be linked is I've had a few downloads that haven't started because I get the error:

Trying again gets it to start so I'm guessing again this is upstream communication issues.

Currently for me, Virgin's Service Status page shows this:

Quote:There is a fault disruption

You might have trouble signing into My Virgin Media at the moment.

Although this appears to be completely unrelated, it wouldn't be the first time an issue for something else has had an impact on other parts of the service that was never reported.

This is due to be fixed by the 10th August.
