Not sure if this is worth posting here..
Way back when the beebotron page stopped working for me (added loads of extra slashes all over) & I still couldn't remember the correct syntax for using get_iplayer I wrote a rough batch file to make searching & downloading easier for the missus & I.

I have no coding skills as such so its provided as is. I do change the odd bit here & there from time to time & upload it to pastebin. It works ok & any errors I've found are listed.
Anyhoo someone may find it useful.

Here's link to the raw version of the latest edit on pastebin.
Select all & copy paste it to a batch file you created. I find this a better option else you will have a window pop up every time you edit or run your batch if you choose to use the download button on pastebin.
