Hi all.

Just recently I've been getting 'audio-described' programmes (Poldark, Atlantis, Banished, etc) as the only option available to download on get_iplayer.

This has been happening over a couple of months now, and seems to be a bit hit & miss, but also getting worse.

At first, audio-described would be the only option after several days. Just recently it's been the only option the day after it was first shown on TV (Poldark).

Any advice?

As in the other thread, your problem is that you haven't upgraded.

I'm running V2.92. Checked the download this morning and just now and still get audio-described only.

In fact, just checked on a search and the only option that comes up on Poldark is stated as audio-described. I wonder if the BBC are doing this deliberately somehow?

No, the BBC isn't doing anything. Those programmes work fine, just not for you. If the audio described version is the only version in search results for Poldark, then delete and rebuild it with . If that doesn't work, post the output from and , scrubbing your username if necessary.
