on the end of it.

can you download if from you side? i have the setting get_iplayer --prefs-add --modes=best saved in my options to allways download best quality could this causing the error?
I can download it here but only to my external drive. The default iPlayer Recordings folder gives the same error that you are getting.
The path to my external drive is much sorter than the path to iPlayer Recordings so that probably pusjes the path size over the limit.
