I've been encountering a problem since sometime on thursday, it seems to be affecting most or all programmes today - perhaps it's at the BBC end, anyone have an opinion? Thanks.

Always check the iPlayer site first. The programme is broken there, so you shouldn't expect get_iplayer to be able to access it. The BBC has been having various problems with on-demand audio over the past week.
