Hi

Big fan of get_iplayer. Use it to get radio shows, recently I've been having issues:

INFO: Episode-only pid detected
INFO: Trying pid: b01rydh4 using type: radio
INFO: Trying to stream pid using type radio
INFO: pid not found in radio cache
Matches:

INFO: 1 Matching Programmes

WARNING: No programmes are available for this pid with version(s): default

this seems to be a standard message. I've tried from by index, by name by pid it seems to just wine about quality. I have been able to download as wma but that takes ages.

Any ideas?

Hi moogus,
You need to update to the latest version from git HEAD. You can find instructions for this here!

WMA downloads are being discontinued by the BBC from the 1st January 2015

@moogus: Post the URL where I can play that programme on the iPlayer site, and post the full get_iplayer command you used when attempting to download it.

b01rydh4 hasn't been broadcast since April 2013

Thanks for all the replies, just done the update everything works again AMAZING!!!!!

I know that PID is old I usually get by index was trying anything and everything, found a list of all PID for the essential mixes.

Thank you so much. I now have a tonne of new music for work on Monday.
