Hi - I have searched and can't find anything on this issue. Apologies if it's obvious.

Last two weeks I've been unable to download specific Strictly Come Dancing (SCD) programmes using the PID. It is the Saturday night show. I've tried everything I can (limited knowledge permitting) but the get_iplayer prog simply states:
INFO: 1 Matching Programmes
INFO: Checking existence of default version
INFO: No specified modes (flashvhigh,flashhigh,flashstd,flashnormal,flashlow) available for this programme with version 'default' (try using --modes=flashaacstd,rtspaacstd)
ERROR: Failed to record 'Strictly Come Dancing: Series 12 - 18. Week 9 (b04t73z8)’

Please note, this does NOT occur with any of the other SCD progs, (Results show, ITT, etc.). The prog is available on Iplayer, and I can even find it and its number with the old 'type' search, but even that number gets the same result.

Any advice please?

You need to update to the latest git HEAD version of get_iplayer which fixes this issue.

Thanks for that. It might be beyond my technical skill but I'll give it a shot. :)

It's not nearly as complicated as it sounds.

All you need to do is go to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dinkyp...et_iplayer and save that file to your computer.

Then you go and find the get_iplayer folder in Program Files and replace 1 file in there with the new one you have just saved. You might also need to rename that file once you have moved it there.
