Hi

I am not sure if I should be asking for help or not since I am using a vpn and know that you don't support them but I am not sure if the vpn is related to my problem so thought I'd try.

In the DOS cmd windows get_iplayer I'm fine, I can download shows without a problem. But in the Web PVR I cannot - the web page opens and all the programs are listed but when I try to record I get one of the following 2 messages depending upon the recording mode:

ERROR: RTMP_Connect0, failed to connect socket. 10061 (Unknown error)
INFO: Command exit code 3 (raw code = 768)

ERROR: RTMP_Connect1, handshake failed.
INFO: Command exit code 3 (raw code = 768)

If this is a VPN problem then I apologize and understand that you cannot help but I guess I thought that if it worked in DOS, it should work in Windows so I'm hoping it's not a VPN problem!

I got it figured out - if I set the default recording mode to flashhd it works. I noticed that in the DOS based interface, if I didn't specify a mode it failed and if I specified another mode it failed - the download only worked with the mode flashhd.

I don't know why neither interface works when they try all the modes but I'm just glad it's resolved.
