Hi, to circumvent the recent problem with the PVR functionality I have resorted to using --pid-recursive with the programme pids. This works a treat.
I was wondering whether there was an option to ignore files tagged as "Clips" - or even, only record files of type "Episode". Alternatively is there a way to filter by duration or filesize?
Thanks for your time.
I'm not sure these requests are currently possible. Topic moved to feature requests.
Sure, no problem. Alternatively, adding episode/clip/etc to the fileprefix options would suffice for me. Thanks for considering anyway.
When i run the following command:
get_iplayer --info --pid-recursive
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b04962fm
part of the output is the following:
get_iplayer Output:
INFO: Series: <None>
INFO: Episode 'Swashbuckle Extra' (b04gwcx2)
INFO: Clip 'Swashbuckle send-in solicit video' (p02x6n0y)
INFO: Clip 'Swashbuckle Send-Ins' (p02wr4py)
INFO: Clip 'Swashbuckle Seaweed Rap' (p02wmv3b)
I'm wondering if this output can contain "clip" can we somehow use this as an exclusion criteria?
Another alternative would be to exclude series which equal <none>
Thoughts?
Dave
No. Just use the individual series PIDs.

i've been trying that approach so far (and it works) however the downside is that if a new series is released for a show, then there is no way of capturing it automatically :(
Use the pvr functionality to pick up new series.
