BSD: Setup a webserver for local network

user-2549

Hi,
I'm trying to work through various instructions to install get_iplayer on an apache server sp that I can access it from my local network.
There is a PKG package which I've installed. I've created a conf file for port :1935 and enabled cgi.
When I access http://mydomainserver.com:1935 I get an error in the httpd-error.log about client denied by server configuration
If I navigate to my server I get an error:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access this resource.

Has anyone got this working?
thanks
Paul

You need to seek help with apache and bsd on a different forum. We do get-iplayer here. The get-iplayer-cgi script provides a web server of its own anyway.

Of course! (thanks) It was an Apache permissions issue. It works (almost)

Other issues now, missing ffmpeg and can't write to get_iplayer folder. Need to work out how to install them now :-)

Got it working now with a prefs file in the right place with ffmpeg and atomicparsley configured.
At the moment the BSD pkg is 3.24 so have to work out how to manually update or get the pkg manager to update it for me.
Thank you
Paul
