My Win 10 Pro reports 3.25.0 installer incompatible, my Win 10 Home doesn't

user-688

Just for info. I have 2 PCs. One runs Win 10 Home 1909 and the update 3.25.0 installed fine over the top of previous get_iplayer. The other runs Win 10 Pro 1909 and it refused to run the 3.25.0 installer saying it was incompatible. Previous version of get_iplayer (and many more) had installed fine. Solution - right-click and select Troubleshoot compatibility. Installed fine, it chose Windows 8 compatibility and then ran / installed fine. Don't know why Win 10 Pro threw a wobbly but it did cause me a "huh?" moment. HTH if the same happens to you.
