I'm new to get_iplayer hope someone can help and have some patience :)
I'm abroad and using NordVPN (paid subscription) to change my IP to the UK.
Using this command

get_iplayer --pid=b0bmbhzb

getting the following error

ERROR: Failed to download URL (3/3): https://open.live.bbc.co.uk/mediaselecto...l?cb=14574
ERROR: Response: 403 Forbidden
ERROR: Access to this resource was blocked by the BBC
ERROR: Ignore this error if programme download is successful

Any idea?

I have the same problem in exactly the same circumstances...

"The Bank That Almost Broke Britain" is not currently available on iPlayer, that is probably why you are getting that error.

Not in my case. I was trying to download m000hkb3 "One World Together At Home".

You need to read the bit that says "access to this resource was blocked by the BBC".

So you're admitting that you are in breach of the BBC's terms of use. In public. Hmm.
