Hi,
I have downloaded and installed get_iplayer and, for the most part, it's working fine. But I have two questions:
1. After inputting the command to download a program, I see it going from URL to URL with repeated "ERROR: Failed to download URL..." replies. Then finally, it finds a working URL and executes the download. What exactly is happening with these failure responses? (I know. I should just be happy that it ultimately finds a working URL and downloads the file, but I am curious.)
2. I know there are command arguments to request a lower resolution and frame rate. But ideally, I would like to download the largest resolution (1280x720) at a lower frame rate (30). Is that possible? I am currently downloading at 50fps and then running HandBrakeCLI to convert to 30fps.
I would appreciate whatever guidance you can give.
