Can anyone help please?

I'm getting the following error for various programmes and according to the main Forum page post (by user-2), this has been fixed in the latest release and the thread is closed, but I have the latest release and it's still happening:

It also said there's a workaround in the wiki, but the only thing I found in the wiki about this error was like trying to read a foreign language (as I'm not a coder or programmer etc).
