Errors downloading a dvfxhigh stream for PID m00084t3

user-2435

Problem started a few days ago, while I was still on version 3.19 (under Win 7). As part of troubleshooting, I updated to version 3.22 but still have same problem.

Has the programme moved channels as I see you were looking at BBC1 whereas I was downloading from BBC2?

Thanks for your reply. I'm absolutely not an expert on get_iplayer, but I was under the impression that the PID was the critical identifier of a programme, irrespective of the channel. I will be happy to be corrected.

This has nothing to do with PIDs. Using --get just turns your search criteria into PIDs. Errors like this for one stream out of 36 available, for one programme out of tens of thousands, mean nothing. This is the internet - downloads sometimes fail, upstream resources may not always be available. That's why get_iplayer tries all available streams, subject to your settings. If the stream shown is the only stream attempted, then your settings are very messed up. If that is the case, follow our instructions to provide a proper report so we can see what is happening on your system.
