I happen to (currently) be running get_iplayer with a network share as it's download destination and the IO operations take forever with the recent increased fps/file size and migration to DASH. I just set a default recording mode that might help, and I aim to run it with local storage soon, but why exactly must it convert to MPEG-TS and then convert to MP4? Surely that could be 1 step directly to MP4?
