Hi,

Is it possible to download only a section of a programme, for example five minutes of a programme starting at 5.00 minutes and ending after 10.00 minutes?

No it isn’t. Use --start and --stop to download only the section of interest. If you don’t want the few extra seconds on either end, then use an editor to shave them off.
