Hi all, just discovered get_iplayer. I'm not an experienced programmer or anything and I have a fairly basic question (I think it's basic anyway!) I've already searched the forums, but haven't found an answer.

Is it possible to output the cache as a .csv file? So far, I've managed to locate the cache file ("tv.cache") but it's formatted with "|" as the separators. If you open this in something like Excel and use the "data to columns" function it works to some extent. However, some of the rows are spread across two columns, so it's not perfect. I'm sure there's a simple way to output the cache from terminal, I just don't know how to go about doing this!
