Seems odd for this to happen. Have I misconfigured something somewhere to get a benign apostrophe to be replaced with a euro (brexit, anyone? :) )

Let me add something: it seems that these characters are in the XML information files. where there are various escape sequences (& etc.). Is there anything that can be done to clean them up? thanks for any information!
