ERROR: Response: 500 Can't connect to aod-hls-uk-live.akamaized.net:443

I updated to the version, but I had to turn my VPN off to get the download to start.  Since I normally have been able to download video via VPN using the OLD version, will video downloads still be possible with my VPN still on?
