I know they say in the README file that you might have to wait 24 hours, was just wondering has anyone been able to find a way around it?

I find the radio programmes from R4 and R4X are usually put up for listen again / download within 20 mins of the close of their first broadcast.
To be sure you can always navigate to their BBC Sounds web page and check if they play.
If not then you need to wait.

Thanks, handy info about the audio programmes, and do you know of visual programmes that you can watch on iplayer that was uploaded within that hour, that you find in get_iplayer?
It doesn't seem to be able to find the newest episodes.
Wondered if anyone knows a method of finding them?
