Yesterday get_iplayer was working fine on my MBPro on macOS 10.13.6.

Today it consistently fails to download all programmes tried.

BBC iPlayer Downloads also failed on all attempted downloads with the error "DASH manifest failed".

I updated both BBC iPlayer Downloads and get_iplayer to the latest versions.

BBC iPlayer Downloads still fails on all attempted downloads with the error "DASH manifest failed".

get_iplayer also fails on all attempted downloads after a sequence of errors like that below.

I installed both get_iplayer and BBC iPlayer Downloads on a Windows10 PC and both worked OK.

On Windows10 get_iplayer also throws a sequence of 403 errors just like on macOS but the download eventually starts.

I couldn't find how to make a log in the documentation, but I did find this instruction

get_iplayer --get 2679 --verbose > C:\Users\%USERNAME%\log.txt 2>&1

which I modified as follows:

get_iplayer --get 2679 --verbose > \usr\local\get_iplayer_log.txt 2>&1

But when I run it nothing appears to happen and no log is created and I have to exit with Ctrl+C.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?
