I have been trying to find a way to download audio files from Irish TV/Radio Player.
After looking for a quite a while I stumbled upon this forum via the woodygems site.

Would it be possible to make this work with the rte player?
I had a program a few years ago for downloading video from sites, but I cannot remember the name of it. I don't think it worked with audio anyway.
I would like to archive a few programmes for my own use on moOde or something similar in the future. But I am finding it impossible. The only thing I have been able to download is an swf file that was 207kb and I couldn;t do anything with it. I downloaded swf compilers to see if I could find any urls it pointed to etc. But I got nowhere.
I found all sorts of programs like IPDL and iradio but no luck, and now I am here. Hoping it's possible to use this with it.

An example url of a show would be:

From there it is possible to see other links to other shows etc.
Many of the shows I want would be here - https://www.rte.ie/radio1/
Although a couple are also available here - https://2fm.rte.ie/

They would be the two main licence backed stations throughout Ireland
Hopefully it will be possible.
