I have no idea what that url refers to
I upgraded to Ver 3.16 and I am getting this error appearing when I download programs. the programs themselves download but each one brings up this error while waiting to download using the PVR scheduler.
It appears to try 6 times before downloading the TV shows and 4 times for radio shows
I upgraded from 3.14 to 3.16, I am wondering if perhaps I should have gone via 3.15 first.
but is there a way to disable it as it does slow down the downloads as it keeps trying to find the urls
Using 3.16 and Windows 10
Since I updated to 3.16 I get an error message which starts as follows:
Failed to download URL (3/3): https: //mm.bidi.bbc.co.uk/vod-hls-uk-live/usp/auth/vod/piff_abr_full_hd/
and continues with a long address which seems to include pids but not the pid of the programme I have requested.
Sometimes I get that message followed by another which starts the same way but includes /piff_abr_full_sd_ad/
The message finishes with
ERROR: Response: 403 Forbidden
Then get_iplayer downloads the programme normally in hvfhd1, and, as far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong with the recording.
Does this matter?
Can I stop it?
