ERROR: Programme type 'bbc radio 4' does not exist

I used to be a regular and very grateful user of get_iplayer – mainly for radio shows but it hasn’t worked for a couple of years no matter how many times I upgrade. A quick look around the forum and (forgive me) but I cannot see the solution.

I use to fire up web pvr manager, find my radio show on iplayer, copy and paste the link to ‘quick url’ and then convert the audio to mp3 to play on an mp3 player. Now (and for some time) all I get is ‘(ERROR: Programme type 'bbc radio 4' does not exist programmes)

What might I be doing wrong?

Thanks.

You've messed up your settings. Post the output from get_iplayer --prefs-show.

Okay, thanks, I'll look for this and post here, but I have not altered anything - just installed as it is.

Can you guide me to where get_iplayer --prefs-show is?

Thanks.

Don't worry - appears I had the 'TV' button clicked as well as 'Radio' when pasting URL or searching - just doing a test download now.
