[ANSWERED] How do I remove old cache entries for radio stations I now exclude from refresh?
#1
Using get_iplayer 3.12-ppa31c on Raspberry Pi.
Have the following command
get_iplayer  --refresh-exclude="BBC Radio 1Xtra" --refresh-include="BBC Radio 2,BBC Radio 4,BBC Radio 4 Extra,BBC 6 Music"

but still picking up 1Xtra programmes - eg

32187: David Rodigan - David Rodigan Pon Road in Jamaica 2018, BBC Radio 1Xtra, b09scfns

How can I stop this?

That 1Xtra programme is repeated on Radio 1: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09scfns

Does it still show up if you exclude Radio 1 as well as 1Xtra?

Once cached, you must either manually remove programmes you don't want from the cache file or rebuild the entire radio cache with new parameters. Also, you don't need --refresh-exclude with --refresh-include.

I think I found the answer. Despite a delete of the cache it was still happening so I tried --cache-reset and now it is gone.

Thanks guys for your help
