First time poster here.

Been having a few problems with the cache failing to download and also recording programmes lately.

I'm living in the Midlands so I'm definitely within the UK.

Should also say that I have managed to download a programme from cBeebies of all things as a test so I'm a bit confused.

Can anyone let me know if I'm doing anything wrong? Never had this problem before.

you need to update your get_iplayer

1. which version of get_iplayer ? ah , sorry , see it in screenshot ( so yes update get_iplayer)
2. if latest , and will probably help fix originals. try the following command

get_iplayer --cache-rebuild --type=tv,radio
