Great site and idea - thank you!

I'm desperately trying to download a radio programme (about Bass!), which only has two days left on the BBC iPlayer. I've been through all the forum searches and the FAQ's, but couldn't find anything specific to the error message I'm getting.

The get_iplayer finds the correct match, then I get:

INFO: 1 Matching Programmes
INFO: Checking existence of default version
INFO: No specified modes <> available for this programme with version 'default' ,try using --modes=flashaaclow,flashaacstd,rtspaaclow,rtspaacstd,wma>
ERROR: Failed to record 'Charles Hazlewood's Musical Exploriums - 2. Bass <b0441rsp>'

I am based in London, so should have UK permission.

Can you help?

First guess is that you may have messed up your preferences. What is the output from ? Scrub your username from the output if necessary.

I'm not sure how to scrub my username from the output.

I get, when I type get_iplayer --show-options:

Options from Files:
mmsnothread = 1
nopurge = 1
output = C:\users\shanec\desktop\iPlayer Recordings
vlc = .\VLV\vlc-2.0.6\vlc.exe

Options from Command Line:
showoptions = 1

Your installation is incomplete. You didn't install rtmpdump, ffmpeg or mplayer, so get_iplayer can't handle any available file format. Re-install get_iplayer and select all components in the installer.
