Hi I stopped using get iplayer  for a while
I recently updated to the latest version
I click on the getiplayer window command
The cmd window opens and I get all the tv programs listed and then the window closes
I can't seem to find this topic here

Using cmd.exe the window stays open however so I can use that

get_iplayer is not a Windows application. It must be run from a command prompt. Either open a command prompt yourself, as you have done, or use the get_iplayer Start menu shortcut, which will open a command prompt for you.
