Web PVR Manager: No PVR searches shown in Run PVR List

user-1630

The problem I am experiencing is that running the PVR produces no results.

The Web PVR Manager was working fine upto a day ago, when I pressed the 'Run PVR' a new tab opened and get_iplayer was 'Running PVR searches' as listed in my PVR list and I could see the program looking for programmes. When a new programme was found it started downloading no problem.

Now when I press 'Run PVR' a new tab opens it states 'Running PVR seaches' but no programmes from my list appear and it says 'PVR Run complete' almost immediately.

I have 'Search Future Schedule' to 'On'
Recording modes are 'good,better,best'
I have refreshed the cache

Below is the result I get when running through get_iplayer cmd

C:\Users\Barbedwire>get_iplayer --pvr

Additional info
Here is the result as shown in Web PVR Manager

And here is the result from the PVR cmd window

It appears that you have not defined any pvr searches, so I don't what you were expecting to see.

Here is a view of my list of PVR searches as shown in the manager

Whatever this is, I can't reproduce it. Follow our instructions to provide a full report so we can see what is happening on your system. Don't test with web pvr - run a pvr search on the command line. If a pvr search runs from the command line, that would point to this problem being isolated to the web pvr.

A couple of other suggestions: First, upgrade to v3.01. 3.00 is no longer supported, though I doubt this is a version issue. Second, don't leave ".*" at the beginning of your search string. It is still a valid regular expression, but those metacharacters at the beginning are redundant. They also make for slightly awkward file names for pvr searches that begin with ".".

Thanks for your reply.
I decided to delete all the programmes in my PVR list and re-enter them. That went ok until I went to edit 'Eastenders' when I 'save changes' I was sent back to the PVR List and then I had a URL for a 'Would Do You Think You Are' appearing in my search1 column (see image below).

The last programme I downloaded before this PVR problem was that 'Who Do You Think You Are'.
Here is a copy of what I entered into the get_iplayer cmd to download the 'Who Do.....'

C:\Users\Barbedwire>get_iplayer --prefs-add --tvmode=better --fps50 "http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04hc5s5/who-do-you-think-you-are-series-11-6-mary-berry"
INFO: Added option 'fps50' = '1'
INFO: Added option 'search' = '(http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04...mary-berry)'
INFO: Added option 'tvmode' = 'better'
INFO: Options file C:\Users\Barbedwire/.get_iplayer/options updated

From the above I can see that Added Option 'search' ='(http://...........) has been added.
Could this be the error and how can I remove it?

Here is a copy of the PVR list and Run PVR from the get_iplayer cmd.
There is still no result when I run the PVR from the get_iplayer cmd

C:\Users\Barbedwire>

Thank you for your help.

user-2

Just delete the erroneous line in your options file, and delete/re-create the pvr search with the erroneous entry.

user-1630

Thank you very much, that solved my problem.
Great program and great support.
Regards
