As of the time of this post, the BBC data sources used by get_iplayer appear to be back online, though there is no guarantee they will stay online. Try a few downloads over the next 24 hours to make sure everything is working at your end.

EDIT: Save everyone some time and only report any lingering problems. DO NOT post that get_iplayer functionality has been restored for you. We will assume it has.
