Hi, can someone please help me down load ALL of the Mars season from Radio 4??

I've tried things like

As good as I'm sure Pat Marsh is, I feel that there is no real need to collect her/his radio programs, and I know that there were a lot more programs than the First King of Mars.

That will never work since the programmes you want don't belong to a single series with "Mars" in its name. Radio 4 has grouped the programmes together in a mini-site. Go there and grab the PIDs or URLs you need to download the programmes individually.

Is there an easy way to list all the pids, so I can put them in a script?? Or do I have to copy and paste them 1 by 1??

From a cmd line window you could just start the Web-PVR option
open up your browser to http://localhost:1935 and run a search for "King of Mars"...
Then select "Add Serch to PVR":

Code:
fields name

subtitles 0

thumb 0

type radio

search0 King of Mars

That will create and PVR entry do download everything from the radio with the words "King of Mars" which are the 6 episodes you are looking for.

Then just run

get-iplayer --pvr

and it will download them.

Their is only 6 episodes. The main "First King of Mars" and 5 "Further Adventures of the First King of Mars" as far as i can see.

My search picks up all 6.

Look at the web site for the Radio 4 Mars Season and you'll see what I mean.

Should the get-iplayer Web-page search feature not find all the titles with "Mars" in it?
or is the lack of xml feeds causing problems?

Hi Everyone, as far as I can tell, I've created a text list of what I hope is all the Pids from the Mars Season on Radio4.

And, I've managed to bodge a script file together to download them all, into the current directory.

Feel free to down load and mess around with, I'm sure that you can do better than I did!!!!!
