The get-iplayer Raspbian repository that I maintain at packages.hedgerows.org.uk has now moved to providing only packages for Raspbian Jessie, but the benefit is that I've been able to build a backport of ffmpeg to go with it.

If you currently use packages.hedgerows.org.uk you will need to update your configuration.

Edit: the binaries are built for armhf/arm6, so should make use of hardware floating point even on a raspberry Pi model b, like mine.
