I have bee using get_iplayer for a number of years with fantastic results, but since upgrading to v2.97 in the last week I have now started to receive errors when downloading files and the output files are varying in size for the same program on multiple downloads. The output files also have issues with the image breaking up and being very blocky as well as losing audio from time to time. I am running on Windows 10, with fast, wired broadband to the server I use.
The output from the CL tool vary with some lines showing in red e.g.
"[NULL @ 05f32aa0] Failed to open bitstream filter aac_adtstoasc for stream 0 with codec copy: Not yet implemented in FFmpeg, patches welcome"
and
"[NULL @ 05f32aa0] Error parsing ADTS frame header!0:30:21.69 bitrate=4433.7kbits/s speed= 126x"
The output below shows the same program downloaded twice but with different files created:
The first file created is : 1.78 GB (1,919,176,390 bytes) and shows a duration of 01:00:37
The second file created is : 1.78 GB (1,917,894,656 bytes) and shows a duration of 01:06:47
Both have image breakup (pixelation/colour issues) at different times as well as audio loss/breakup.
Any ideas as to what is going wrong? Other than updating the old client to 2.97 no other changes have been made to the config. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times as well as rebooted the PC and router as this was suggested elsewhere. I also have the same issue when using PIDs. This show is PID b084ftll.
