I am running get_iplayer on a raspberry pi and all works well....except.....I can only d/l content to the SD card that it boots from.

I have tried many times to save files to the NAS but it doesn't work and my linux knowledge is limited.

So, how do I configure the --output to save to the NAS on my network instead of to the local disc? I have smb shares mounted and seen by the pi, but I can't get it to d/l there.

Any help appreciated!

To say "it doesn’t work" gives us nothing work with. Run with and post the output as an attachment. You should only need to specify the correct path to save files on your NAS. It might be rather slow, though. The entire contents of a programme gets sent over the network 5 times during downloading and post-processing.
