Is there a list of possible programme 'versions' or do the BBC make them up as they go along?

Is there a query I can run to determine the available 'versions' for a pid?

other Non-default version, other reason

signed Signing for the hearing impaired in-vision
technicalreplacement Edited for technical reasons
unknown Non-default version, reason unknown

You can use the --info option to see the available versions of a pid.
