Has anyone else had problems with get_iplayer since Firefox updated to 49? 'Add Series' no longer functions, I can't go further than page one of the displayed programmes, I can't select and record an individual programme, but I can refresh the cache and I can record the programmes stored in my PVR list. Everything was fine with all previous versions of the browser. I've jumped back to Internet Explorer and everything runs without a problem, but Firefox has been my preferred browser of choice for the last few years.

Thanks for the heads-up. This problem is indeed due to a change in Firefox 49. There is no workaround, and the latest Chrome and Opera releases are similarly affected, so for now continue using IE.

A fix is now available in get_iplayer development version. Given the scale of the damage, a new release will be forthcoming fairly soon.
