Windows 8.1 help

user-67

I'm trying to get get_iplayer working on a Windows 8.1 system, after running on Windows XP.
Mostly, it works, but I was causing the conversion to MP3 by having this line "aactomp3 1" in an "options" file in c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\.get_iplayer.
I'm having no luck getting a command line to run "get_iplayer --prefs-add --aactomp3".
Where do I go from here?
tnx, doug

You'll need to provide more information than that. What exactly happens when you run that command? What output do you see? What, if anything, is already in the options file? Are you logged in as Administrator? Do you really want to always run get_iplayer as Administrator?

Also:
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings
doesn't contain user home directories on Windows 8. It's
Code:
C:\Users
now.

Ok, the second response above was what I needed. Thanks.
