It seems the Beeb has set forth a decree that one needs a licence to access iPlayer material.
I am now getting the error in the attached file.
Is this due to the attempt to collect licence fees or some other issue?
You copied the pid incorrectly, the last character is an "l" not a "1"!
Try --pid=b00w15hl instead! ;-)
The best thing is to copy and paste the PID from the URL rather than type it in yourself!

No, I had cut and pasted the PID, but I gave your suggestion a try with the following result.
It was not due to an incorrect character. In fact, the PID I was using was correct or I wouldn't have gotten the match for it in the original result.
This has absolutely nothing to do with licensing. You appear to be outside the UK, so the BBC says no iPlayer TV programmes for you. The get_iplayer output even warns you that may be the reason. Thread closed - see forum rules.
For others interested in this programme, it may also simply have been a temporary server error to blame for the failed download.
