Raspberry Pi and V2.96

user-634

Due to the segmentation issues I really need to upgrade to V2.96.

Have always used  'packages.hedgerows.org.uk' but this is  still at V2.95.

Do I have any other options?

Have you considered a manual install? get_iplayer is a Perl script that you can install anywhere. Just make sure it is executable (chmod +x) and run it from wherever you install it - e.g. ./get_iplayer --pid=...

Dinky's notes at https://github.com/get-iplayer/get_iplayer/wiki/unix reveal all.

Many Thanks.

packages.hedgerows.org.uk has finally been updated to v2.96. (Somewhat belatedly.)

However you need to install ffmpeg separately: /thread-964.html
